유건은 미국 애리조나 출생으로 미국 시민권을 갖고 있었으나 2001년 군 복무를 위해 미국 국적을
포기한 것으로 알려졌다 이는 그의 일부 팬들에게는 알려진 사실이었으나 최근 불거진 연예인
병역특례 비리와 맞물려 다시 화제가 되고 있다.

YG was once an american citizen due to born in Arizona,
but gave up the citizenship for military service in 2001 since it's already known by some fans,
but now this fact (issue) is surfacing again relating to an issue due to illegal exemption from military duty
by some celebrities.


유건의 소속사 관계자는 27일 "유건이 군 복무를 위해 미국 시민권을 포기한 것은 사실"이라며 "굳이
이를 외부에 알릴 필요가 없어 그 동안 밝히지 않았으며 2년쯤 뒤에 입대할 계획"이라고 전했다.
The spokeperson from UGun's agency announced
"that is true Yoo Geon gave up the American Citizenship for Military Service
but there was no need to announce this to public, we thought.
Yoo Geon is planning to join the military service in about 2yrs later "

등에 출연했다
Yoo Geon  played the roles in movie 'multi-cell girl' (DasepoNaughtyGirls)
and 'oen ni is coming' ( Go Go sister / Project Makeover) after KBS drama 'Hello God' .
