오늘은 특별히 신형전투복을 입고 나왔습니다. 제가 지난 두 달간 실제로 입어보니까, 패턴도 멋지고, 소재도 기능성이라서 정말 만족감이 듭니다.
하지만, 이런 첨단 전투복이 하루아침에 나온 것은 아니겠죠?
오늘 군사용어 돋보기, 우리군의 전투복이 어떻게 변해왔는지 얘기해 보겠습니다.
우리군의 전투복은 지난 건군 60여 년간 모두 6차례 바뀌었습니다.
그 변천사에는 우리군의 역사가 고스란히 담겨 있습니다.
6.25전쟁 때까지만 해도 어려운 경제 사정으로, 미군과 일본군의 군복에 한국군의 표지를 달아 재활용해왔습니다.
우리의 군복이 처음 생긴 것은 1954년부터입니다.
당시 미국의 군사원조로 받은 원단을 국내에서 가공해 군복을 만들었습니다.
하지만, 미군 작업복의 디자인을 모방했기 때문에 기존 재활용 미군복과 별 차이가 없었습니다.
1967년 경제 개발이 가속화되고, 베트남전에 참전하게 되면서 점차 모양새를 갖춰갔습니다. 호칭도 작업복에서 전투복으로 바뀌었습니다.
1971년에는 상의를 빼 입는 형태의 군복이 등장했는데, 당시 군기가 빠져 보인다는 여론이 많아 1973년 새 군복으로 교체됐습니다.
1973년부터 지급된 새 군복은 주머니를 작게 만들고 상의를 하의 안으로 넣어 입는 형태로 1990년까지 사용됐습니다.
위장성이 뛰어난 얼룩무늬 전투복이 전군에 보급되기 시작한 것은 1991년에 이르러서입니다.
이 얼룩무늬는 우리나라의 삼림과 토양 특성을 감안해 검정, 녹색, 갈색, 모래색을 혼합해 디자인 한 것입니다.
제가 지금 입고 있는 신형전투복은 2006년에 최초로 개발돼, 올해 10월부터 일선부대에 보급하기 시작했습니다.
얼룩무늬가 더욱 조밀한 디지털 무늬로 바뀌었고, 땀 흡수율이 높아진 것은 물론이고, 세심한 부분까지 신경써서 활동의 편의성도 크게 좋아졌습니다.
하지만, 전투복의 발전은 계속돼, 2020년쯤에는 주위환경에 따라 카멜레온처럼 색상을 바꾸고 온도조절장치까지 있는 첨단 군복이 개발된다고 하니 정말 기대가 됩니다.
이렇게 전투복에는 각 시대의 경제상황과 기술력이 집약돼 있다고 볼 수 있습니다.
예나 지금이나 전투복은 군인에게 충성심과 사명감을 더해주고 있는 것만은 변함없는 것 같습니다.
지금까지 군사용어돋보기였습니다.

Yoo Geon Enlists in Military [ 20110302]

From the group OPPA and now actor Yoo Geon (Jo Jeong-ik) admitted into the Kyeonggido Euijeongbu 306 base on the 2nd afternoon.
From Arizona, USA, he was an US citizen but he gave it up to serve his duty in the army and gained a Korean nationality.
Having debuted at the age of 15 through the group OPPA, he changed to an actor in 2006 with KBS 2TV drama "Hello, God"
After that he gained popularity with dramas "Can't Stop Now", "Prosecutor Princess", movies, Go Go Sister" and "Mission Possible: Kidnap Granny K".

Actor Yoo Gun (28), who previously headlined for giving up his U.S. citizenship, enlisted in the army as an active duty soldier on March 2nd.
Through an interview with Newsen, he revealed,
“I’d like to apologize for enlisting so late. As opposed to feeling scared, I actually feel lighthearted about my enlistment. A lot of my friends have already served, and actor On Ju Wan, who was recently discharged, gave me a lot of realistic advice.”
When asked about the attention he received for giving up his U.S. citizenship, he replied,
“That’s old news, I gave it up years ago, and it’s not because I wanted to enlist. I gave it up because it was troublesome having to travel back and forth between Korea and the U.S. while working on my acting career. Serving in the army is the duty of every man, so I’ve always thought of it as something definite.”
Actor On Ju Wan accompanied Yoo Gun during his enlistment process, and even drove him to his training camp. “On Ju Wan is a college friend. We also appeared in the movie ‘My Mighty Princess‘ together. When Ju Wan was enlisting, we spent the night together and he promised me that he’d accompany me to my enlistment.”
When asked whether he would be applying for a position as an entertainment soldier, he replied,
“I don’t have any plans to. I just want to serve normally with the rest. Since I’m enlisting quite late, I’m planning to just listen to orders from those younger than me and adjust well. I want to make sure that my age doesn’t make anyone uncomfortable.”
The reporters asked the star if he had a girlfriend who would visit him. Yoo Gun replied, “We all gathered to eat breakfast together, and it was a room full of 11 men. It was really sad (laughter).”
Yoo Gun concluded, “Two years is as long as it is short, so I’ll be healthy while serving. Please wait for me to return "

미국시민권 포기 유건 “늦은 군입대, 선임들 명령 무조건 복종하겠다”(단독 인터뷰)
배우 유건(본명 조정익, 28)이 미국 시민권을 포기하고 현역 입대한다.
유건은 3월 2일 오후 1시 30분 경기도 의정부 306 보충대에 입소한다. 유건은 이 곳에서 5주간 기초 군사훈련을 받고 자대 배치를 받게 된다.
유건은 입대 전 뉴스엔과 전화인터뷰에서 "군대를 늦게가서 죄송하다. 군대에 대한 두려움 보다는 홀가분한 생각이 더 크다"고 입대를 앞둔 소감을 전했다.
유건은 "주위에 친구들이 대부분 군대를 갔다왔다. 특히 얼마 전에 제대한 온주완이 조언을 많이 해줬다. 가서 몸 건강히 다녀오라고, 또 시간은 흘러간다고 현실적으로 말해주더라"고 웃음을 드러냈다.
유건은 군 입대에 앞서 미국 영주권을 포기해 화제가 됐다. 그는 "영주권 포기는 몇 년 전 얘기다. 군대 때문에 포기한 것은 아니다. 군대 때문에 영주권을 갈등한 게 아니라 연기하면서 한국과 미국 왔다 갔다 하기 불편해서 포기한 것뿐이다. 군대는 남자라면 당연히 가야 한다고 생각하고 있었다"고 밝혔다.
오늘 유건의 군입대는 영화배우 온주완이 동행했다. 특히 직접 운전을 해 의정부까지 배웅을 나갔다고. 유건은 "온주완가는 대학교 동기겸 친구다. 또 영화 '무림 여대생' 때도 함께 출연했다. 주완이 입대 전에도 함께 밤을 샜는데 그 때 주완이가 내가 군대갈 때 마중 나가겠다고 약속을 해줬다"고 돈독한 우정을 보여줬다.
28세의 늦은 입대에도 불구하고 유건의 목소리는 덤덤했다. "연예 병사를 지원할 계획인가?"는 기자의 질문에도 그는 "연예병사 지원 계획은 아직 없다. 그냥 전국각지에서 다양한 직종을 가진 병사들과 함께 생활하고 싶다"고 솔직한 생각을 전했다.
"늦은 나이다 보니깐 어린 친구들 말 잘듣고 잘 적응해야 겠다"는 그는 "행여라도 나이 때문에 내가 불편하지 않도록 선임병들의 말과 명령에 복종할 것이다"고 군입대후 포부를 밝히며 웃어 보였다.
"면회를 약속한 친구들이 있냐?"는 기자의 질문에 유건은 "이준혁 이외에도 많은 친구들이 약속을 했지만 그 말을 믿지는 않는다"고 밝혔다. 이어 여자친구를 묻는 질문에는 "오늘 아침에 와서 밥을 먹었는데 남자 11명이었다. 남자들만 왔냐고 주위에서 묻더라. 참 슬펐다"고 재치있는 입담을 선보이기도.

Actor Oh Geon-woo (real name Oh Se-kyu 31) died of an accident on the 13th and is causing great shock.
Oh Geon-woo's company said, "He was driving back from Daegu when his car skidded across the icy road and collided with a dump truck. Accident procedures were then being delayed so his body could only be transferred to Seoul later in the evening.
His funeral has been set at Seoul Asan Hospital and will be borne out on the morning of the 15th.
His burial spot hasn't been decided yet.
Meanwhile, making his debut in 2003, he has acted in dramas and movies such as, " *The Iron Empress(천추태후) 2008" , "Sin Don", "My Tutor Friend Lesson II (동갑내기 과외하기)2003 " and more.

Married but repressed and feeling lost, that's how Hee Yeong (Kim Gyu Ri)'s life is, having a husband who doesn't even remember her name.
Once, there was a man whom HeeYoung loved but the whole thing was abandoned. Kang Hee Yeong hopes to claim back her real life, she leaves home to find her shining days...
Then a voice asked " Where would you like to go ?? "
In this journey Hee Yeong meets this young man, Jun Ho ( Yoo Geon ).
He dreams of becoming a baseball player but earns a living by driving a taxi.
As a child Jun Ho grew up without love and was abandoned by his mother - for the sake of money.
He is a young man good natured, innocent and of cheerful personality.
Together Jun Ho and Hee Yeong find their lost dreams, hopes, freedom and real life.

부는 가졌지만 남편과의 결혼 생활이 시작되면서부터 희영(김규리)의 삶은 없었다. 그녀의 이름 석자 조차 기억 못하는 남편. 자신조차 잃어버리고 살아가는 억압된 삶으로부터 벗어나 배우라는 꿈이 있었고 그녀의 빛나던 시절, 희영을 사랑해주었던 한 남자도 있었지만 그 모든 걸 버리고 떠나온 진짜 강희영의 삶을 되찾기 위해 떠난다.
그때 그가 말했다 '어디로 갈까요?' 희영의 여정에서 만나게 된 준호(유건)는 야구선수의 꿈이 있었지만 돈벌이를 위해 택시 운전을 하고 있다. 넉살 좋고 능청스럽기까지 한 쾌활한 성격의 준호는 돈 때문에 엄마에게 버림받고 돈 때문에 사랑도 잃었다. 그런 준호를 통해 희영은 자기 자신의 본 모습을 발견하고 준호와 함께 서로의 잃어버린 꿈과 희망 그리고 진정한 삶의 자유를 찾아 간다
